It's not easy to be in online fandom these days! Work in the content mines is never ending. Kids won't get off your lawn. People continue being wrong on the internet. Not to mention, well... you know... everything else.
Whether your (web) battle is big or small, you know what they say: “wars aren't won on an empty tank.” And while you can always count on fandom to nourish your soul, who's nourishing your body?
For a limited time, we are!
From April 1st to the 10th, Fandom Cookies are (temporarily) here for you! Best part? They come in three different flavors—with gluten free equivalents!—to ensure that, in the best fandom tradition, everyone has something to eat.

Shop Cookies

Our cookies come in 3 flavors, each with a special selection of fortunes: "kinda vanilla", for the tasteful shipper; "chocolate doves" for those who like some spice; and "lemony prompts" for the scenario-ponderers who like their food purposeful.

HTML's Cookie Challenge

Did you know? HTML ❤︎s cookies! He ❤︎s them so much, he can't help but hoard them all. Unfortunately, in our April 1st frenzy, part of his secret stash got scattered all over this website!
Can you help him gather them up? There may be a reward in store for you!

FAQs
The Cookies
Are these actual cookies?
What's in the box cookie!?
As with their traditional counterpart, each cookie contains a tiny slip of paper with a fandom-related fortune printed on it. Fortunes vary by flavor, but each box contains 8 (regular) or 7 (gluten free) cookies from a random selection of 10 fortunes.
Themes are:
- Kinda Vanilla - Our "safest" option, with fandom-related puns, predictions, and wisdom.
- Chocolate Doves - Our spicier option, where we take it up a less-safe-for-work notch! Will include some darker themes... if they let us print them!
- Lemony Prompts - What's more delicious than a lemony cookie? A citrus-flavored (short) prompt to help you get your daily OTP intake!
What about ingredients and allergens?
Here's everything we know about nutritional and allergen information:
What are the ingredients?

Keep in mind, however, that this label is for a wide variety of fortune cookies. We can be more specific about the three flavors we're offering!
What are the Gluten Free ingredients?
- Water, Sugar, Gluten Free Flour (Rice Flour, Rice Starch, Potato Starch, Xanthan Gum, Locust bean gum), Soy Lecithin, Vegetable Shortening, Vanilla, food coloring.
What is the source of the vegetable shortening?
Are the cookies vegan? Do they contain eggs or milk?
What is "egg shade" then?
Are the cookies certified kosher? Are they certified halal?
Are the fortune cookies produced in a nut-free facility?
Could you please provide info about the FDA's 9 major food allergens?
- Milk: The fortune cookies we are selling do not contain milk. The facility does contain dairy. (Other fortune cookies from the supplier are dipped in milk chocolate.)
- Eggs: The fortune cookies do not contain eggs. The facility is egg-free.
- Fish (e.g., bass, flounder, cod): N/A
- Crustacean shellfish (e.g., crab, lobster, shrimp): N/A
- Tree nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts, pecans): The supplier does not use tree nuts. Some people with peanut or tree nut allergies may have crossover sensitivity to annatto, which is used in the "egg shade" yellow food coloring. Please err on the side of caution when ordering.
- Peanuts: The facility is not nut-free. Because the facility uses M&M’S (which are produced in a facility containing nuts) they are trying to be extra cautious. Please err on the side of caution when ordering.
- Wheat: Wheat flour is used in the traditional fortune cookies.
- Soybeans: Soy is present in the soy lecithin and the vegetable shortening, which is from soy and cottonseed.
- Sesame: The fortune cookies do not contain sesame.
What if I have another question about the ingredients?
Why only seven gluten free cookies?
Unfortunately, gluten free cookies are significantly more expensive than regular ones. With eight cookies per box, our margins would be so tight we'd risk losing money if anything went wrong!
Once all orders are in, we'll consider adding an extra one... as a treat! ;) Sign up to our socials or newsletter to keep up to date!
When will these ship?
For obvious reasons, we can't order the cookies until all orders are in. Then, we'll need a few weeks for production and delivery before we can start packing! Currently, we estimate shipping will begin late May.

What are Fortune Cookies?
Fortune cookies are crispy, sugary, delicious cookie wafers. Each one is folded around a tiny strip of paper with a printed fortune, which can be read after breaking the cookie.
Brought to the USA from Japan, fortune cookies are now a staple of American culture, traditionally offered as an end-of-meal treat in Chinese restaurants. Popular Chinese-American chain Panda Express gives out almost 300 million of them every year.
What are HTML HTTP Cookies?
HTTP Cookies are bits of information sent between a web server and a browser, typically alongside content like HTML. They can be used to remember and transfer details about the state of the application, such as login credentials, shopping cart items, or user preferences.
Nowadays, alternative mechanisms (like localStorage) exist for information that should remain exclusively on the user's own device.
Did you know? On desktop browsers, you can use developer tools to easily inspect—and even edit!—the cookies stored by a website. Follow along with the instructions (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) and try it here: there may be a surprise waiting for you...
